A celebration of community, creativity, and love. The gritty natural atmosphere with dashes of personal crafted touch were the perfect way to capture the unique relationship we invested in. Our relationship began living in community and has always been about creating a hospitable environment that lends a feeling of grace and understanding to all those around us. An environment that allows the ones we love to leave with a pocket full of memorable moments of laughter, wisdom, and just plain fun. The dark, yet vibrant colors we chose perfectly paralleled the maturity of our 5 year relationship and the vibrancy and excitement of this marvelous new chapter. From our uniquely crafted inter-denominational ceremony, including “the passing of the rings” throughout the congregation, a laying of the hands by the bridal party and family, the sharing of personal vows with a surprise spanish translation by the groom, the odes to hispanic wedding tradition, down to the breaking of communion, the day was carefully thought out with each guest in mind.

        Wedding Venue &

We came across the Kraft family for the 1st time at the San Antonio Wedding Fair in the Winter of 2017. We booked a tour to visit and instantly knew it felt like home. The family left us feeling like we were one of their own and knew it was the perfect place set a part to have the most special family gathering that would feel like home. My husband and I joke we knew it was meant to be once we knew they had barn cats. Our hashtag was #kittenfoundhertomcat

Why did you Jackie to be your wedding photographer?

We were captivated by Jackie’s edge and the way she could tell a story through her craft in a way that made you feel something very different than other photographers in the industry. Love is gritty, fun, passionate, imperfect and raw; we felt that in every piece of her work. We knew when we looked back years from our wedding day, her photos would evoke the intense feelings we felt in each moment of our wedding day. Along with her unmatched skill, she had a way of making us feel like she truly cared and understood us at the core of who we are as a couple.

What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?

My first look with my dad. He was so moved in that moment in a way I had never seen him. I saw him look at me in a way I imagine he looked at me the moment I was born. It’s a moment I will never forget and a moment I am so grateful was so perfectly captured by Jackie.

Did any of your other vendors go above and beyond for you?

Hannah from Madly and Love Blooms consistently went above and beyond to make sure the dream I had for my wedding day floral was a reality. She is such an artist and has a natural creativity to her that truly sets her work a part. I had a large list of items on my list for floral details and a specific budget and she was genuine, honest, and worked really hard to make my dream a reality within those constraints. She so perfectly grasped the concepts I had in mind and beautifully delivered. She really cares about her brides and works hard to find the perfect blooms that encompass each unique couple.

Jackie Willome was so much more for us than just our photographer. She goes ABOVE and BEYOND in every way to support her couples in each step of the journey and even worked miracles for wedding emergencies that came up outside of photography. She gave frequent check-ins to make sure I was staying afloat in the planning process and reminded me of the big picture, while still asking how she can help smooth over each detail. Extras, she’s hilarious, flexible (which is a plus during wedding chaos) and keeps the wedding experience lighthearted and memorable. You can really tell the intention and commitment she puts in to each of her couples.

Edward Garcia III with The Box Street Social lent his expertise in helping us craft our wedding menu. He took into account first and foremost our style to guarantee our menu was perfect for the most special people in our lives, while staying true to us. He was flexible in making adjustments based on dietary restrictions and guest total. Unlike many caterers, he also made it a priority to ensure that the display of the food was equally visually stunning as it was delicious. In addition, at the last minute when our doughnut baker backed out he without hesitation jumped in and ensured us he would make it happen in their place so we would not have to stress about the inconvenience.

The Allen Farmhaus worked overtime with us many moments throughout our wedding planning journey. Since we were from San Antonio, there were times that it only worked for us to drive to town after a long work day and they always greeted us with the same enthusiasm and warmth and stayed past dark to make sure we got everything done that we needed. They brainstormed with us many times and always affirmed our individuality. On wedding day, they made the day seamless and always reminded us they were present and available for anything needed. They were great hype girls in the highs and lows of planning. This vendor turned family was one of the hardest to say goodbye to after the wedding.

Do you have any tips to share with other couples?

Think outside of the box. Forget the trends. Don’t replicate but allow it to lend you inspiration. Spend time crafting your day in a way that pays homage to the individuality of your relationship and those who have cheered you on along the way. Breathe. Sleep. People will tell you more than once and I will be another, all of the “things gone wrong” will be irrelevant and unrecognizable on your wedding day. Enjoy the process, go all out and give your all because it will make your wedding day that much more special. Above all else, remember the end goal and keep loving one another. All of these moments will turn into laughs and memories to cherish.
